Sahira interviewed for a Technical Consultant role in 2020, but during the process the opportunity evolved and she joined as an Account Manager. “It turned out to be a great starting point because it allowed me to develop both technical and client-facing skills early in my career here.”
At the time, the company was a small team of around 10 to 12 people. What stood out immediately was the strong sense of unity and collaboration. “It genuinely felt like one team working towards the same goal. I also appreciated how involved the Directors were in the day-to-day work. It created a very open and collaborative environment.”
This early experience gave Sahira a unique perspective on how a growing business operates. She was able to see the direct impact of her contributions and quickly learned the importance of adaptability in a fast-moving environment. As the company expanded, she embraced new responsibilities and opportunities, building a foundation that would support her future leadership roles.
Over the years, Sahira progressed from Account Manager to Senior Account Manager, then Operations Manager, and now Senior Operations Manager. Each stage brought new responsibilities, from managing client relationships to overseeing teams and eventually leading the wider consultancy function. “My journey at Bonham & Brook has evolved significantly. Each stage of that journey has been a milestone because it has pushed me to develop new skills and broaden my perspective.”
One of the biggest challenges she faced was learning how to balance business needs with people management. Leading teams meant recognising that everyone is different and finding ways to support individuals while still meeting organisational goals. Developing this balance required resilience and adaptability, but it also became one of the most rewarding aspects of her role — seeing colleagues grow in confidence and progress in their careers.
Her achievements include not only delivering excellent client outcomes but also shaping the way teams collaborate and grow. Today, she supports multiple teams and ensures the delivery of high-quality services to clients. She has become a key figure in maintaining standards and driving efficiency across the consultancy function.
