My name is Andreia, and I serve as the Quality Manager and Executive Assistant at B&B. Originally from Romania, I pursued my higher education in the UK, completing both an LLM (Master of Laws) and an LPC (Legal Practice Course).
In my role at B&B, I play a pivotal role in supporting the Managing Director and the executive team. One of my primary responsibilities is to ensure smooth communication and collaboration between the board, senior management, and shareholders. This involves coordinating meetings, managing schedules, and facilitating the flow of information to ensure that key decisions are made efficiently and effectively.
As the Quality Manager, I am also responsible for ensuring that the company adheres to the highest standards of quality in all aspects of our operations. This includes implementing quality management systems, conducting audits, and identifying areas for improvement to enhance overall performance and client satisfaction.
What inspired me to embark on this career is my deep-seated passion for the law and unwavering commitment to upholding principles of justice and integrity. Since a young age, I’ve been fascinated by the intricacies of the legal system and the power it holds in shaping a fair and equitable society.
In my current role, I am fortunate to be able to align my passion with my profession. Every day presents new challenges and opportunities to apply my knowledge and expertise to advocate for what is right and just.
Moreover, being part of a profession that demands the highest ethical standards resonates deeply with my personal values. I believe in the importance of adhering to principles of integrity and honesty, and my career allows me to live out these values on a daily basis.
Overall, B&B’s commitment to supporting women in the workplace goes beyond a single event or gesture. It is ingrained in our company culture and reflected in the various policies, programs, and initiatives the company has in place to foster gender equality and empower women to thrive in their careers.
Michelle Obama.
I think she is a powerful role model for women and girls, showing them that they can achieve their dreams through hard work, perseverance, and determination.
As a woman in this industry, I’ve definitely encountered some challenges along the way, although I wouldn’t say there are too many explicit barriers. Sometimes, it’s more about navigating the subtleties – the unwritten rules or the underlying biases.
I strive to be a role model by demonstrating professionalism, confidence, and resilience in my own work. Overall, my approach to influencing and mentoring is rooted in empathy, support, and a commitment to fostering their professional growth and success.
If I could go back in time, I would tell myself to trust the process and to understand that success takes time and perseverance. To be patient with myself and trust in the process, knowing that every step forward, no matter how small, brings me closer to my goals.
Yes.
For me, inclusion is recognising and embracing the diversity of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences that each person brings to the table.
